Liverpool has emerged as a potential destination for Kylian Mbappe following reports of Real Madrid stepping back from the pursuit. Despite Real’s prior attempts to secure the France international, they’ve opted out due to perceived challenges with his contract demands and existing deal terms.

According to a recent AS report cited by Sport Witness, Mbappe’s wage demands reach around €35 million (£30.5m/$38m) per year after taxes, translating to a staggering weekly salary of £586,000 ($728,000). Additionally, he’s rumored to seek a signing-on fee of approximately €100m (£87m/$108m). Liverpool’s interest in the player has resurfaced, having been previously linked to him last summer.

While Mbappe has long been a passionate supporter of Real Madrid, evident from his childhood admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, recent indications suggest the possibility of a move to England, expanding the realm of potential destinations.

Expected to feature in upcoming matches for France against Gibraltar and Greece during the international break, Mbappe’s next appearance for PSG is scheduled for November 24, in a clash against Monaco.
