Although the post was later deleted, the damage was done, leading to Sancho’s expulsion from the senior squad after refusing to apologize.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, set to acquire a quarter stake in Man Utd, hopes for reconciliation between them, but it appears unlikely. Selling Sancho in January or considering a loan deal with a view to a later sale seems the most plausible resolution.
Despite interest from the Saudi Pro League, Sancho is inclined to reject any offers from Saudi Arabia to continue playing at a high European level. Juventus has initiated discussions with Man Utd for a January move, becoming the first club to do so formally.
Former Man Utd player Louis Saha has advised Sancho, suggesting he has the talent for any Premier League team but needs the right mindset. Saha emphasized that fitness concerns upon Sancho’s arrival at Manchester United affected his performance.
Should a Premier League move not materialize immediately, Saha recommends Sancho consider playing in another European league to develop before returning to England.
While moving to Saudi Arabia might be deemed extreme, Saha envisions Sancho playing in Spain or another top league to rediscover his enjoyment for football before a potential return to England.
Wherever Sancho goes, Man Utd is likely to face a significant financial loss upon selling him, having invested a substantial £73 million to secure him from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021.
