Andreas Pereira, once a promising talent within the ranks of Manchester United, has revealed why departing from the club marked the most pivotal and beneficial decision of his career.
Pereira’s journey began in 2011 when he transitioned from PSV Eindhoven to join Manchester United’s prestigious academy. From the outset, he exhibited immense potential, rapidly becoming a versatile midfielder whose skills were highly anticipated by the club’s followers.

Leaving was the best decision I made.”
Pereira further elaborated on his feelings towards Manchester United, stating, “When I was at United, I really enjoyed my time there at a fantastic club. But I don’t regret leaving.”
He emphasized the universal desire among players in similar positions to prove their worth, noting, “We always want to prove that it was a mistake we didn’t play more. With the help of everyone at Fulham, I had a great season.”
Since joining Fulham, Pereira has played in 82 matches, a notable increase compared to his 75 appearances during his tenure at Manchester United. This regular playtime has allowed him to rekindle his passion for the game and demonstrate his abilities on a consistent basis.
