Recent updates from the Evening Standard confirm Chelsea, Liverpool, and Barcelona’s pursuit of Moscardo, with Arsenal joining the list of suitors. Chelsea appears particularly keen on Moscardo, considering him the next promising young talent they wish to secure.
The competition for Moscardo is expected to intensify after 10 days, following Corinthians’ plans to initiate discussions post their presidential elections on November 25. Subsequently, the focus might shift to Moscardo’s situation in January during the Brazilian league’s off-season.
Despite acknowledging Chelsea’s interest in the past, the teenager remains uncertain about his future, expressing his commitment to Corinthians. He mentioned, “I can confirm that there was interest from Chelsea few months ago, strong interest… but I want to help Corinthians get out of this situation. To tell you the truth, I have very little information, my father knows a few things.”
Moscardo is under contract with Corinthians until July 2026, having signed a new deal in the summer. At just 18 years old, he has already made 23 appearances for Corinthians, primarily as a defensive midfielder, and has represented Brazil at the under-23 level.
As for his potential destinations, Chelsea, under Todd Boehly’s ownership, have been keen on investing in young talents, emphasizing midfield updates after the departure of key players. Liverpool also seeks a long-term holding midfielder despite recent acquisitions.
