Jurgen Klopp has provided reassurance regarding Bobby Clark, who emerged as a potential injury concern during Liverpool’s dominant 6-1 victory over Sparta Prague in the Europa League Round of 16. Klopp stated that Clark “should be fine,” alleviating concerns about his fitness. Additionally, Klopp mentioned that Kostas Tsimikas appears to be in good shape, although he’s unsure if Tsimikas sustained any knocks during the match. Looking ahead to their FA Cup clash against Manchester United, Klopp noted that Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo, and Darwin Nunez were sidelined as precautions. However, Liverpool’s absentee list for the match against United is expected to include several key players, such as Alisson Becker, Joel Matip, Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Ryan Gravenberch, Stefan Bajcetic, Jayden Danns, and Thiago Alcantara.

Regarding injury updates, Ryan Gravenberch might return to the squad after participating in team training during the week. However, Curtis Jones and Trent Alexander-Arnold are likely to be sidelined until after the international break. There’s optimism about the return of the French international for the upcoming weekend, although the availability of Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper and Diogo Jota remains uncertain.

Despite the absence of key players, Liverpool has been delivering impressive performances recently under Jurgen Klopp’s guidance, suggesting confidence in the squad’s depth to cope with the missing starters.
