The Reds have had a strong start to the season, currently sitting in third place with only one defeat in their 11 games played. Luis Diaz’s entry from the bench secured a 1-1 draw against resilient Luton Town on Sunday. This result placed Liverpool three points behind the current leaders, Man City, although Tottenham could surpass City if they win against Chelsea on Monday.

Liverpool has exhibited a knack for comebacks this season, yet their situation could have been even more favorable if they hadn’t developed a habit of falling behind in games.

Their upcoming fixtures involve a Europa League trip to Toulouse in France, followed by a match against Brentford at Anfield, before a significant Premier League encounter against Man City at the Etihad on Sunday, November 25.

While the outcome against Guardiola’s side won’t determine the title, a victory in that match could significantly influence the destination of the 2024 Premier League crown.

Jamie Carragher suggests that Klopp could greatly benefit Liverpool by addressing two problematic positions in the January transfer window. Despite feeling that Premier League glory might be out of reach, Carragher has highlighted two crucial signings that could give the club a competitive edge.

Carragher emphasizes the need for Liverpool to sign a new defensive midfielder and a full-back due to recent draws exposing weaknesses in these areas. He points out the absence of a top holding midfielder since Fabinho’s departure and expresses concerns about the current players filling that role. Despite Klopp’s acquisition of Waturu Endo, it seems the manager doesn’t favor the Japanese star in that position, using Alexis Mac Allister as an alternative No. 6, a role that doesn’t seem to suit him well.

Regarding the full-back position, Liverpool faces issues in the absence of Andy Robertson. Carragher explains that while Joe Gomez didn’t make major errors in his temporary role on Sunday, his contributions in attack were limited. Carragher emphasizes the need for a quality backup for Trent Alexander-Arnold, someone who can fulfill multiple roles in defense and potentially release Alexander-Arnold into a midfield position.

Carragher believes that, regardless of potential signings, expecting Liverpool to win the 2024 Premier League title is ambitious. He asserts that Liverpool needs another midfielder and a top-class defender to aim for a place in the top four, but challenging for the title might be beyond their reach at present.

From the point of view, what Carragher has said it is totally true I strongly believe if Liverpool will spend money two strong midfields and one attacker like Mbappe it will helps a lots unfortunately currently situation is as good as such but it needs to be excellent team like the squad of 2017
