The 17-year-old player is considered one of the most promising talents in his home country, having appeared in 26 matches for his club and participated in five games for Brazil’s Under-20s team. This has attracted the attention of renowned clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid who have closely monitored his development.
Recently, Liverpool has intensified their focus on the Brazilian market as Jurgen Klopp seeks to enhance his team. Reports have surfaced, indicating that Klopp is highly interested in securing a deal for Fluminense midfielder Andre. Earlier in the week, it was suggested that he had agreed to personal terms for a transfer to Anfield.
Andre is set to play on Saturday as his team competes against River Plate in the 2023 Copa Libertadores at the Maracana. This game could potentially be one of his last appearances for Fluminense, as his move to Liverpool is expected to be completed early in the January transfer window.
Yet, Andre is not the sole Brazilian prospect Liverpool is pursuing. Recent reports suggest that Liverpool scouts are closely observing Guilherme, potentially willing to pay around €25m (£21.7m) for the young talent.
