Revealing the first name to leave Real Madrid when Mbappe arrived

by LAVIZKID

Real Madrid is reportedly contemplating the option of loaning out forward Arda Guler amidst the imminent arrival of Kylian Mbappe. The anticipation of Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid is reaching its apex, with sources from both France and Spain confirming the finalization of a personal agreement. The addition of the French phenomenon is poised to bolster Los Blancos’ attacking prowess, solidifying their claim to possessing the most formidable frontline in the world.

Nevertheless, Mbappe’s impending arrival is also expected to necessitate the departure of a current player, namely the promising young attacker Arda Guler. According to reports from Fichajes, Real Madrid is mulling over the idea of loaning out the Turkish talent in the upcoming season to ensure he receives ample playing time. With the club already boasting a plethora of attacking options including Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr, Joselu, Jude Bellingham, and Brahim Diaz, in addition to preparing for Mbappe’s arrival, Guler’s prospects of competing for a starting berth appear increasingly slim.

Having joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce for a fee of 20 million Euros, Arda Guler’s tenure at the club has been hindered by a serious injury sustained during pre-season. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder only made his debut for the team in January 2024 and has made just five appearances so far, four of which were as a substitute, without registering any goals or assists.

Despite his limited playing time, Real Madrid remains optimistic about Guler’s potential and is keen on loaning him out to facilitate his development. Several teams are reportedly interested in securing the services of the young Turkish talent for the upcoming season, as indicated by Spanish newspaper Fichajes.net.

However, reports also suggest that Arda Guler is eager to remain at Real Madrid and vie for his place in the squad. Consequently, the decision regarding the young player’s future rests in the hands of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and coach Carlo Ancelotti. It remains to be seen whether they opt to loan out Guler or retain him as part of their plans for the upcoming campaign.
