Kepa Arrizabalaga faces an uncertain future as his loan spell at Real Madrid nears its end. Todo Fichajes recently reported that the Spanish goalkeeper, currently on loan, is heading towards a situation of uncertainty. Despite filling in commendably for the injured Thibaut Courtois, Kepa hasn’t quite convinced Carlo Ancelotti that a permanent deal is worthwhile.

Both Real Madrid and parent club Chelsea seemingly don’t see a future for Kepa in their plans. Consequently, the 29-year-old is expected to return to London, where his contract is set to expire in 18 months. Mauricio Pochettino, in charge of transfer decisions, is reportedly making Kepa available for a transfer at a reasonable £13 million.

Although Kepa has shown promise while deputizing for Courtois, it appears his efforts might not secure a lasting spot. However, there’s a glimmer of hope as Sevilla, in need of a successor for Bono, who departed for Al Hilal last summer, has emerged as a potential destination for the Chelsea loanee.

Sevilla’s interest provides a potential escape route for Kepa from his challenging stint at Stamford Bridge. Despite their interest, meeting Chelsea’s valuation might pose a challenge for Sevilla, hinting at potentially tough negotiations during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Kepa has showcased his capabilities during his brief tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu, amassing six clean sheets from his initial 13 appearances across various competitions.
